Serrated Software creates e-commerce web sites using DotNetNuke and a custom shopping cart and product management system designed to market to consumers and search engines.

Our custom DNN modules allow for complete customization of product presentation. Since each and every product is different in some way, we designed our tools to allow site administrators to define what they are selling using building blocks called attributes. Attributes are grouped together into templates which define products. Site navigation, search engine optimization (SEO), product catalogues, and even site maps built into the modules are controlled entirely on the presence or absense of attributes in products. Visitors to sites using these tools place the products in an easy to use shopping cart which is integrated on the back end with both Paypal and Verisign for payment processing

Its a very competitive market, but it is a big market. Years ago I partnered up with a guy with some great ideas and business sense and we've been working on Hawaii Discount together ever since. The new site has been tremendously successful due to a much increased presence in the top of search engine rankings for competitive key words.

The second site it www.lowcountrygeologic.com . Lowcountry Geologic sells fossils, including shark teeth, trilobites, ammonites, fossil crabs, fossil fish, and dinosaur teeth. This site has been performing for years, and we've developed quite an inventory available online. Lowcountry Geologic benefits from their DotNetNuke implementation most in terms of organization of its more than 4000 individual products. New products and product types can easily be added, allowing the site to grow indefinitely.
